Grande video grazie! Una domanda, utilizzando il 16-55 2.8, e sapendo che non userò mai più di due filtri assieme, che dimensione di filtri mi consigli? 77 mm o 82 mm? Quello che vorrei capire a 16 mm con con il 77 mm e due filtri la vignettatura è molto evidente da giustificare l'acquisto ( e l'ingombro) del 82 mm?

I bought the X-T50. When I use non Fuji lenses...the LCD preview doesn't work properly. It doesn't show the actual preview, that is the LCD stays the same regardless of me changing ISO, Shutter or aperture. I know how to fix this on the kit lens, but I can't figure out how to get the LCD to preview the shot correctly. Any ideas? (I have live preview OFF)

Does the film sim dial allow you to change the other settings for each film sim? As if they were C dials but attributed to each film sim? Or simply changes the film.

What i think is that its not sharp for fuji mount but wht about sony mount ?..

Pacchetto compatto e follemente caro. Una XT a doppia cifra al prezzo con cui si prendeva una xt3 o xt4 all uscita per me non è giustificata. Credo che in Italia ne venderanno davvero poche, così come è successo alla xs20. Poi una ghiera sprecata per le simulazioni pellicola non si può vedere. Un occasione persa. Concordo sul fatto che incarni meglio di altre lo spirito fuji, e l avrei anche presa ma non ha questo prezzo. Ritengo che 1500€ possa e debba essere il prezzo del kit con il 16-50 che di per sé è anche buio forte per uno zoom apsc. Tra l altro ne body ne obiettivo sono wr. Considerando che cmq non è la macchina completa per il video, lato foto rispetto ad una xt30 costa il doppio... domanda ma questo stabilizzatore quanto vuoi farmelo pagare??? Ok il nuovo sensore che poi non fa che mettere in crisi alti ISO e vecchie ottiche. Ricordo che allo stesso prezzo canon propone una R7 con simile risoluzione, af più sicuro, wr, ois, doppio slot.

Molto azzeccato il confronto con il 56/1,2 di Fuji, che per me rappresenta il limite da non oltrepassare per quanto riguarda peso, ingombro e portabilita'. A maggior ragione quando si tratta della variante piu' vecchia "R" (piu' leggera e meno ingombrante della variante "WR").

I got the X-T50 two weeks ago and it’s been a real joy to use everyday! And I really do enjoy using the film simulation dial. The new kit lens is brilliant. Plus when I put the 27mm f2.8 pancake lens on it, it’s such a tiny but powerful kit. It’s become my everyday carry camera.

I love the film simulations. Might be my favorite thing about Fuji. That silly dial stopped me buying this camera. It's a terrible idea that's also very poorly executed.

The Panasonic S9 with Sigma i series lenses is an even more fun and lot more versatile system.

Continuo a pensare che la xt5 è il top Ci monti un 27 mm è sei leggerissimo Ci monti un 16/80 è lo regge molto bene

I tried using the Kit lens with lower light settings (Not Night) and I definitely felt it struggled a bit. I came from Sony Full Frame and Always used the 28-75 2.8 and loved it and missed the 2.8 so I picked up the 75MM Viltrox 1.2 for my XT50 and WOW changed Fuji for me. Now I know what everyone was talking about haha. I am going to return my Fuji 16-50mm to B&H Thankfully I purchased separately to get it faster. I went with the Viltrox 75MM (112ish FF Equive) because when I shot with my sony I was finding my self leaning more into the 75MM and when I just needed a little more compression or framing I would put into APSC mode to crop in more. So the Viltrox made me feel right at home and now my XT50 is fully unlocked in my opinion. Just my experience with Fuji as a new Customer and really enjoying the Viltrox may grab the 27mm as well down the road.

If Fuji make a version of the X-S20 with the 40Mp sensor I'll buy it.

Your post processing of those greens is off…buy the OM5…much better.

x me solo il peso, x il resto bocciata, se avessero messo open gate come xs20 sarebbe stata un potenziale acqquisto, avendo problemi alla schiena non posso caricare troppo, sto aspettando finchè posso al nuovo modello, ci sarà un open gate e peso minore, cosi' ti vendono la nuova fotocamera, insomma io con ste fuji proprio non riesco a trovare la camera perfetta, intendiamoci portafoglio compreso, la buona notizia qualche settimana fa ho preso il 23mm 1.4 wr ora penso di prendere anche il 18mm 1.4 wr, almeno sugliu obbiettivi ci siamo...

Beware the dreaded GAS: I've used my 100-400 for several years now; upgrading the camera as & when a new model with 'my' features pops up, ending-up with thhe x-t5. Then this beast of a lens came out, but I resisted for a year before taking the plunge; then my buddy went & upgraded his sony kit to the S9## ( never can keep up with sony's model names) and his shots were suddenly noticeably better than mine {:0( Fast frame-rate & preshot being the big advantage in getting the 'money shot'. The upshot is; I now have the x-h2s/150-600 for wildlife & surfing photography... AND the x-t5/100-400 for events, concerts etc where I need 40mpx & reach, but not necessarily speed. Divorce was hinted at, but I'm hanging on by the skin of my teeth 😬

è probabile che avendo la batteria più piccola il processore è meno spinto per risparmiare energia e quindi ti sembrerà che l'autofocus non sia come quello di xh2 o XT5

Speaking as a Fuji user, the X-T50 makes more sense now the price of the X-T5 has returned to normal I love the sensor on the X100 VI However I find the difference between the X-T3 and X-T5 is less, when the final image is presented to customer. Let me explain when I shoot with the X-T3/5 I am using the right lens for the job, so their is minimal to no cropping in post, and I shoot 90% in the studio. Printed to 16" x 12" is our normal print size and it would be almost impossible to tell the difference between the cameras. However, with the X100 VI sometimes I have to crop and having 40MP gives so much more flexibility. One of my colleagues who shoots wildlife loved the upgrade from the X-T3 to X-T5 as wildlife needs to be cropped. He was getting better results shooting with the X-T5 and cropping in post than he was using the X-T3 with the 1.4X TC And using the X-T5 and cropping in post was producing better results than the X-T5 using the 1.4X TC and losing a stop of light. back to the subject. X-T50 or X-S20 - If you are lens limited the X-T50 gives you much more cropping options If you are not lens limited then it is dealers choice if you want a mid range camera, video first maybe lean X-S20, photo first X-T50 2nd shooter/body camera, I used to like always using the same sensor so editing was easier, but I don't find huge differences to the colours or editing process Now there is a £400 price difference, you can have the X-T50 with kit lens or X-T5 body only, or pick up X-T50 body only, plus a prime lens The Price difference is pretty much the same between all the previous X-T cameras... the X-T3 was £400 more than the X-T30 only difference was they were both £300-400 cheaper at launch

hai sbagliato a comprarla a prezzo pieno avrei aspettato 2-3 mesi che si inizia a trovare usata o fanno una sorta di cashback o promozione instant rebate il prezzo lo hanno detto tutti attualmente è gonfiato. a me comunque piacciono molto i negozi di fotoluce e fotodiego ho acquistato molto materiale

ho aggiornato il firmware della mia xt5 il Reala Ace è fantastico la migliore simulazione pellicola è un provia meno contrastato soprattutto sulle ombre

Recensione che aspettavo da tempo essendo interessato alla XT-50. Quello che piu' mi preoccupa, e' l'eventuale calo prestazionale delle ottiche del mio corredo, dovuto al nuovo sensore da 40 Mpx. Attualmente, ho la prima versione (R) degli obiettivi 14/2,8 - 23/1,4 - 27/2,8 - 56/1,2 e sono poco propenso a cambiarli. Cosa mi consiglieresti?

bravo la migliore recensione fatta qui in Italia ke altre erano tutte superficiali. a promirrorless la camera non è piaciuta perché spendendo poco di più ti prendi la xt5 che anzi usata si trova a meno della xt50 nuova.

is it worth getting the new xf16-50 kit lens or is it ok to use it with the old 18-55 kit if i already have that?

went on holiday with just x-a5 and xc16-50ii. The small size/weight + focal lengths is great, love on-board flash. xt50 with xf16-50 would allow this in 40mp glory, giving straight pro fashion shoot look. Only disadvantage is at the body+lens pricepoint taking it to the beach and in jacket pockets would leave me worried, whereas replacement value of the xa5+xc16-50 is almost a fifth compared to the xt50+xf16-50 😂

Bought it, tried it, but the dials were so flimsy, and used to the good control of my canons, that I exchanged it for the smallest fullframe canon, the R8, with a rf 28 2.8. But still, very nice camera.

Good to see you as always Luca. Excellent review, definitely second to none (and I did watch a few). For now I’m still waiting to see what the X-T6 brings to the table, the X-T4 that I’m currently using has yet to let me down. On a separate note, I’ve using the XF16-50 for the past couple of weeks and it doesn’t disappoint, great lens for just walking around doing street “stuff” and photography in general (I love the internal zooming mechanism), only a few times I found that I should’ve brought the XF16-80 with me for the extra reach instead, but as they say, first world problems. I get your points and excitement, however for me this price (1500 € body only in Germany) is too high, especially, as you pointed it out, in comparison to the X-T5, which I own and love. I will take my ‚old‘ and trusty X-T20 as a back-up body to Iceland and it is great to hear that you got satisfying shots with it 😀.. and s you said.. time will show a decrease in the price of the X-T50.. let‘s see..

Nice review - I have been thinking about getting this lens for my XT-20 as the wider angle suits what I do much more than the 27mm.

Hi Luca, this or the 150-600 fuji lens ?

Between this and the Viltrox 27mm, which one to get? I have the fuji 18mm 1.4 and the 33mm 1.4. I'm not even sure if i need the 23mm or the 27mm.

Got the lens and you did a great review. I really love the compact size and the focas length. That being said, for photography, the slowness is quite a bummer for wildlife on cloudy days. Not a dealbreaker since it does a great job for everything else. Lucky me, I am more into videography, and shooting wildlife with a slow lens is much easier since the shutterspeed is much slower than in photography, which greatly helps this lens on that aspect.

It is one of my trinity lenses: fujifilm 10-24, Tamron 18-300, Tamron 150-500!

I am sure to say you made a very subjective conclusion without any objective comparison. I had sony 70-350 and Tamron 18-300 both and compare side by side the photos. Tamron is brightor if you realize the focal length, i can take macro as sharp as my Tamron 11-20, and brightor and sharp at 300mm than sony 70-350mm. Also Sony if at 350mm is difficult to take photo handheld anyway with my shaky hands. Anyway, i am very glad with my tamron 18-300mm, with 5 year warranty, and sold my sony 70-350mm already. It serves all my purpose unless i sometimes put on my Tamron 11-20 for the northern lights not long time ago, or my Tamrom 17-70 for very general city photo shootinh without any macro or long distance photographs.

I'm returning it too. Was pulling my hair out for two months...E-mount. Thanks for your observations, they match to the point.
